A good friend of mine and I met at the park with our children today. She always seems so organized with her blanket, snacks, juice boxes, etc. I feel like I just went through a whirlwind to grab a few things and get there . . . late, as usual.
Our family doesn’t go to the park very often, simply because the playground in our backyard is much more convenient (especially with 3 or 4 children in tow :). It seems the desk work and housework are endless, and I’ll get “caught up” if I can just get a few more things done at home (i.e. not playing at the park).
