Tackle It Tuesday Meme
For quite some time, I’ve known my computer was running slow. I’ve known that I needed to do something about it. My husband’s hard drive is recently departed, so I’ve been reminded about WHAT CAN HAPPEN if you aren’t prepared (of course, he was  ).So, this week I’ve been working on de-cluttering the inside of my computer. The dust bunnies are still roaming around because, quite frankly, I just haven’t felt like taking the machine apart. Okay, to be honest, I’m afraid that being cleaned will send it into a state of shock and it will DIE on me and I’ll be completely unprepared, and my husband will laugh at me and say, “I told you so.”I’m letting the dust bunnies multiply a little longer while I work on getting sufficient back-ups of all the stuff I need and the other stuff that I just think I do. I’m cleaning stuff out as I go (carefully, lest I delete something that I don’t think I need but that I really do  ).It’s not very satisfying, I have to say. Not like a clean shelf or an organized drawer. Heck, the computer isn’t even running any faster yet - I had to go out in the garage and tackle a couple of shelves and reorganize some toys just so I’d have something to feel accomplished about!

My husband wants to crash my system and let me start over - doesn’t that sound like fun? Of course, he wants me to have everything backed up so [he doesn't have to hear me whine] it will be easier to rebuild the system. While the resulting faster computer will make me happy (and I’m sure so much more efficient too  ), I’m afraid I’ll drown in all the work that piles up while I put it all back together.

How do I keep getting stuck on these slow-going projects? I don’t know that I’ll ever finish cleaning out my closet. Well, maybe I can at least round up a few dust bunnies before NEXT Tuesday!
