Of course, if you go to bed at the same reasonable time each night (which the “experts” suggest), then you are also supposed to get up each morning at the same time. I fear that means no more sleeping in on weekends (note to self - another reason to consider homeschooling
).
So this morning, I woke to my 5-year-old whispering in my ear that his bed was wet . . . again (definitely not a sweet nothing). I then realized my 16-month was wailing (most likely because she could hear the “big kids” playing in the living room).
I retrieved the 16-month old, getting her dressed, because she and her sheets were wet. I changed her sheets and headed off to change the 5-year-old’s sheets. Of course, I realized it was time to change the 7-year-old’s sheets. What the heck? I’m on a roll . . .
So, with all these sheets changed and laundry underway (all before breakfast, mind you), I think I’m going to sneak back to bed. This getting up early every day is for the birds!
