Over at Skittles’ place, the theme for Heads or Tails today is Heads - THREE. I can think of LOTS of threes

1. Bad things usually come in 3s - most recently, we had squirrels AND mice in the attic, our heat pump broke, and we had to have a sewer line replaced.

2. Three is the number of times I usually have to repeat myself before shrieking my children will respond.

3. My 3rd child is currently 3 years old. Really, it’s all about her - anything that is 3 (she can have 3 M&Ms, there are 3 crayons with Red Lobster kids’ menus, she needs to put 3 plates on the table for lunch, you get the picture . . .) she announces, “That’s three, just like I’m three!” (I hope Skittles will choose 4 for a theme in about a year - I can ditto this).

4. The number of times I buckle my youngest in her car seat every day before noon (don’t call DHR, I unbuckle her too!).

5. The number of computers we have in our home office - one is for the kids .

6. The number of times I have to discipline my children in the course of a day (oh, wait! maybe that’s 3 times 30 ).

7. The number of hundreds of dollars I spent just this morning on a new camera purchase (feel free to click on my donation button in my sidebar so I can stop hemorrhaging ).

8. The number of meals we prepare and serve at home every day (o.k., well MOST days) . Our dishwasher gets quite a workout.

9. The number of ketchup bottles we go through in a week (well, not really - but it sure feels like it!!)

10. The number of children we currently have sleeping in one bedroom, but that’s about to change. A friend is giving us two twin beds for the girls’ room, so we’ll have two girls in the girls’ room and two boys in the boys’ room (sorry, I didn’t mean to get off theme ).
