We have four children as well and my husband is a police officer. We buy our children three gifts. We began this seven years ago and based it on the fact that Jesus received three gifts. We used to buy so much and found that they really enjoyed getting a big gift and two smaller ones. Of course we have four teenagers and to get them anything that they really want....you can only get them a few since their 'toys' are more expensive! I also do their stockings with gift cards and things that they are needing or want like cd's. I enjoyed your podcast. Great idea! Blessings, Vickie I listened to your podcast.
