Easy Turkey-Veggie Melts
10 oz pkg Green Giant Frozen Broccoli, Cauliflower, and Carrots in Cheese-Flavored Sauce
1/2 lb. thinly sliced deli turkey breast (I use sandwich meat)
onion sandwich buns, split, toasted
3/4 oz slices American cheese (I use cheddar)
1. Prepare vegetables as directed on package. Open pouch; pour into medium bowl. Cut vegetables into bit-sized pieces.
2. Placed toasted bun halves, cut side up, on ungreased cookie sheet. Layer turkey evenly onto bun halves. Spoon vegetable mixture over turkey. Top each with 1 slice of cheese.
3. Broil 4 to 6 inches from heat for 1 to 2 minutes or until cheese is melted.
Hope you enjoy this week’s meals - I’d love your feedback on these and what shortcuts and fun solutions you might have for making meals quick and easy!
