Yano is hosting Ten On Tuesday again wanting to know 10 things to do instead of watching T.V. Since this is a family site, I thought I’d make a list of 10 things you and your kids can do instead of watching T.V. (or playing video games)

1. Ride their bikes. If that sounds boring, go outside with them and set up an obstacle course in the driveway to make it more interesting - make them go around the trashcan, follow a jump rope laid out in a curvy line, go around a car, have them toss a rock in a bucket when they ride by - the possibilities are endless!

2. Sidewalk chalk and sidewalk paint. See how big they can draw a flower/tree/cloud; who can make the most unusual looking bug; play tic-tac-toe; practice this week’s spelling words from school. Read the rest of this entry »
